Somewhere along the way, my cell phone number got on a telemarketing list. I’m not usually inundated with calls but someone has been trying very hard to get ahold of me this week.

Well, I finally picked up quick enough tonight, and found out my “phone number was randomly chose as a winner” .. for some vacation package thing in the Caribbean. I told the guy (who spoke very broken English at best) that I wasn’t travelling overseas and hung up.

I think if I get a new cell phone I should just change my number then too. Of course, there’s no guarantee that some company I do legitimate business with on a regular basis won’t sell my new number to telemarketers too. Ugh.
